YOUR GUIDE FOR CONSIGNING
Who Should Consign?
If you have bought good, quality clothing or baby items in the past three years and are no longer using or needing them and would like to earn some of your money back, you should consign. If you are cleaning out your closet for the first time in ten years, then most of that should probably go to goodwill. Also toys and bikes and outdoor stuff that your kids are bored with are great forconsigning.
Why Should You Consign?
It's good for you and your wallet and it's good for the environment. Consigning is a way of recycling (less clothes in the landfill). Turn your cluttered closet into cash. Clean and organize your closet and get rid of clothes that don't fit or you never really had the chance to wear. Consigning will not make you rich, but it will give you a return on purchases that turned out to be not so perfect for you.
What To Consign?
We consign seasonally. So March-August is Spring/Summer and September-February is Fall/Winter. We accept quality clothes in great condition, not more than three years old. We carry Women's,
Junior's, Children's, Maternity, Shoes, Purses, Formal Wear, School Uniforms, Toys, Books, Scrubs, and Baby Equipment. We also carry a small selection of Men's clothing
How to Consign?
Prepare your items for consignment. Clothing must be clean and hung on clear or white plastic hangers with the hook to the left. Make sure your buttons are secure, zippers are working, seams are sturdy, and check for stains, discoloration, fading and pilling. Everything must come in clean and ready to be priced and go on the floor. The better your items look, the quicker they will sell!
Baby Items:
Make sure they are clean - in all the little crevices. If it has removable fabric, remove it and wash it. Make sure all the straps and clasps are there. If it's not safe, we cannot sell it!
What We Do Not Accept:
Clothes, old, with stains, holes, missing buttons, faded or pilled. No smoke smelling clothes, games/toys with missing pieces, books that have been written in, underwear, unless brand new in package, stuffed animals unless they sing, dance or move, knick-nacks, silverware and dishes.
Call to make your appointment. All clothing will be gone through when you come in. Space is limited, bring us the best you've got!!
